Mermaid Medical Group recently announced full commercialization of D*Clot® HD Rotational Thrombectomy System. Now available to Premier members, D*Clot® HD is a system designed to raise the standard of safe and effective thrombectomy in patients with clotted AV fistulae or graft.

Mermaid Medical Group, a privately-owned international provider of minimally invasive medical devices, announces a new partnership with Premier Inc. The leading healthcare improvement company, uniting an alliance of approximately 4,400 US hospitals and health systems and more than 250,000 other providers and organizations. Premier has awarded a national contract for D*Clot® HD to Mermaid Medical Group.
Effective December 1, 2022, the agreement allows Premier members to benefit from re-negotiated open access pricing for the D*Clot® HD Thrombectomy System.

A multicenter limited market release evaluation demonstrated D*Clot® HD’s ability to restore flow effectively and safely with no reported complications. The data derives from several institutions where numerous users applied the technology to patients and showed effectiveness across variations in vessel size, access type, and thrombus morphology.
