Claus holds a degree in Accounting from Copenhagen Business School. He is a Partner in PWC, where he has accumulated over 40 years of experience. Claus also serves on the board of directors for companies within the automobile, agriculture, and food processing industries.
Lizette Kildegaard Nielsen
Member of the Board
Lizette has over 25 years of experience working with sales in the medical industry. She also has hands-on experience from the Danish research institute Statens Serum Institut as well as large hospitals and clinics in Denmark.

Lars has navigated the medical device industry for over 30 years, focusing on product innovation and sales management. He founded Mermaid Medical because he has a vision of how to offer healthcare professionals better solutions to improve patient care in a way that is better than what the established companies can do.

Ann has held numerous finance positions in large global companies such as KPMG and GE Healthcare. Her more than 25 years of experience has created the foundation for her to now empower Mermaid to make better financial decisions through close cross-functional collaboration and exchange of ideas.
Yasmin Adams
Senior QA Manager
Yasmin Adams has over 20 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer and a Quality Manager. She has many years of experience with medical device companies, where she has, among other projects, successfully digitalized QMS - one of her core projects here at Mermaid.
Daniel Lennartz
Sales & Marketing Director
Daniel has over 20 years of experience working with medical device sales and marketing, specializing in tumor ablation. He has been the Country Manager for sales in Sweden and has most recently proven himself in his position as Marketing Director for Mermaid Medical in Europe.
Michael Igoe
Senior Product Development Manager
Michael has over 25 years of experience within engineering and product development. He holds degrees in Polymer/Plastics Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering Technology, and he has spent most of his career focusing on medical devices.
