Barrigel®

Biodegradable rectal spacing during radiotherapy for prostate cancer

Barrigel® is intended to temporarily position the rectal wall away from the prostate during radiotherapy for prostate cancer to reduce the radiation dose delivered to the anterior rectum. It gives the ability to sculpt, layer and customize with real-time visualization for optimal positioning and more complete protection.

Barrigel® is composed of Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid (NASHA®), a biodegradable material, and it maintains space for the entire course of prostate radiotherapy treatment.
